And the winner is....

As you know we have been on the hunt for a Pacifier for Madisen. Now we don't want her to be a pacifier baby that carriers their pacifier everywhere but when she is fussy it would be nice to give her a paci to help soothe her. I especially would love one to work at night when she is put to bed. I believe that we found one today. It is by Natursutten and there are a couple of reasons why I chose it:

Natursutten pacifier are made from pure, natural rubber from the tree Hevea brasiliensi.

No allergy causing substance

No artificial color.

No chemicals softener; parabens, PVC, phtalates and BPA (bisphenol-A) free.

Rubber pacifier are softer than silicone, the Natursutten pacifiers are extremely hygienic because they are molded in one piece. This means there is no joints or cracks where dirt and bacteria can accumulate.

Larger shield is designed to touch baby’s nose, providing comfort by more closely simulating breast-feeding.

Natursutten pacifiers shield is larger than conventional shields in order to prevent babies to squeeze the flexible material enough to get into their mouth. It will also not leave marks on babies' face.

And finally I gave it to Madisen and she didn't spit it out. In fact her little hands grabbed onto the ring and she sucked away. She even smiled and that is when I knew we had a winner. She really liked the soothies to but I didn't like them because they made marks on her face, didn't attach to her pacifier holder and the little handle thing on the front got on my nerves. I was never really sure how the paci should be placed in her mouth. I mean I figure it out but it never really seemed like it was comfortable.

So for my dear sweet Madisen I will continue to drive to Whole Foods to purchase this pacifier as long as she loves it. Much like her formula she had to pick the most expensive one out there. I am getting very scared for Neal and I's pocketbook. I think we could be in very big trouble.
