Cooking for baby

I know this is not something that I need to worry about for a bit but I cannot wait to get one of these and make Madisen some baby food. I am no domestic diva let me tell you but the thought of cooking healthy food for Maddie has me really excited. I have already dropped so many hints to Neal and I think it is safe to say he understands I really want one and wouldn't be suprised if I go out and buy one. ;) The best part is he hasn't told me no, sooo I think maybe in the next couple of weeks I will go buy it just so I can read about it, gather recipes and try it out. I have a lot of research to do on how to do this right for Madisen. I mean lets face it I barely know how to boil water but I do make a mean enchilada ;)

Do you make your own baby food? Do babies seem to prefer home made food or jar baby food? Or do you think they even care?
