Is it just me or is there too many choices in diapers. I mean you have swaddlers, cruisers, overnight diapers. You have Huggies, Pampers, Luvs and the list goes on and on. I mean some have stripes for when the diaper is wet. Some have gels others have powders. What do you choose and how do you know what is best?
So I am guessing through good ol trial and error. We got some store brand diapers and although they are okay I find myself leaning more towards name brands. Maybe I am a brat but I think they are better. I really liked Swaddlers when Maddie was a newborn. They even smelled good and they were so stinking cute. Huggies were great but the tabs on them drove me crazy or maybe it was the stretchy part in the back that seemed to make it more difficult to put the diaper on.
I go to Target and I laugh because there are so many choices. I had to laugh even harder because I came home with Baby Dry diapers from Pampers not realizing that they were bedtime diapers. I tell you too many choices makes me lose my mind a little.
Since Madisen is now moving up to size 2 diapers I thought I would start our own trial and error. Since I believe I had negative preconcieved notions on Huggies I thought I would start there first. So far so good but that stretchy thing in the back still bugs me. PLUS, I just found on Pampers site where you enter a code from their package and you earn points towards free diapers and wipes so I gotta say I am leaning more towards them.
However, my sister uses Costco diapers and I was wondering how those work for anyone out there who might use them. I know they are a heck of a lot cheaper and you get like 240 for $30.00. That is such a great deal considering everything else you still have to use for a baby.
So tell me, what do you use?
