So I hate to do this but I have been so busy with you that I have to combine your 11 and 12 week post. Plus I lost a lot of the pictures from your 11th week that I thought it would be best to combine both. You are growing every day in front of our eyes. I cannot believe that on Thursday you will be exactly three months old. Your last two weeks have been so amazing but we have had our challenging moments as well.

These last two weeks we have been doing A LOT of shopping. You always do so well out and about. I am not sure if you like your car seat or you are like your Mommy and you just like to be out and about shopping and away from the house. We have been shopping with Grandma, Auntie Cassie, Auntie Kiki, and Tiffany and your new friend Brooklynn an even Daddy. We have been to Fresno, Hanford, Bakersfield, Visalia and right here at home in Tulare. Our favorite store is Target because they have everything all in one place and taking you in and out of the back of a car and getting out your stroller and covering you up when you are napping gets tiring. You are after all getting so big :). Mommy has gone a little overboard with clothes and your Daddy just rolls his eyes. He knows how much I dreamed of shopping for our little baby and how much I look forward to taking a picture of you every day in your new outfit. He has tried to say that I am cutoff but I think he knows that realistically I will find an excuse for every cute outfit I find. I keep telling him too that we can use it for your baby sister ;) I am pretty sure a baby boy won't want to share all of this pink. Your closet is so full that Daddy has to add a second bar. But you know I am a bargain shopper so I really don't feel all that bad!

You have been doing so many neat things lately. You are really lifting your head and turning it a lot. When Mommy or Daddy hold you in our arms you really keep your back straight and you take everything in. You look around and coo and smile and of course slobber on our shoulder. Speaking of slobbering you are TEETHING already. It is crazy I know but you stick your fist in your mouth and rub your gums on your knuckles and you get so frustrated. You slobber like crazy and at times you get pretty darn fussy and we feel so bad because there is not a whole lot that you can do for teething as far as the pain goes. We have tried teething tablets and teething toys but you mostly like your knuckles or Mommy's finger. You also have been really giggling lately and it is so weird to hear you giggle because it makes you seem so grown up. The other day you even made a noise that made Daddy ask me if you said, "hello", I told him that it sounded a lot like it. :) You are even able to stand up on our knees if we hold your arms. You are getting so big and strong. I can't even tell you how proud of you I am.

The last few weeks have been a little cool in the mornings and you have sooo many PJ's that I thought I would put you in one that your Grandma and Grandpa Creson bought you. You were so cute in them and the funny thing was that since you were so warm and cozy you nearly slept all day. Some days I am tempted to put you back in them when I need to get something done ;). You have so many PJ's I hope that the cooler weather hurries up so that you can actually wear all of them. You are growing so quick that I am afraid you may not wear half of your wardrobe.

Your naps are always the same. You cry for about a minute when I put you down and then you sleep for like 30-45 minutes. Sometimes when I come to get you and unwrap you from your swaddle you have already half escaped on your own. Sometimes you are smiling at me because I have finally arrived to get you out of your crib and sometimes you are cranky because I tried to get you to sleep a little bit longer and you weren't having it. You know you don't take great naps throughout the day but you pretty much sleep from 7pm to 6am or so. With me waking you up at 10 to feed and bathe you. I wonder how long you would make it if I didn't wake you but I am afraid to test it because I don't want to be up at three i the morning with a baby who is up and ready for the day. Someday when you are older you will understand the beauty of beauty rest :).

Every week I put you in your bumbo to see if you neck is strong enough and this week I am proud to say that you sat very well in your seat and you even look around. You seemed to be surprised that you can hold your head up and you loved to look around at everything and take in all the sights. But I don't want to put you in the seat for too long until I am 100% certain that your neck is strong enough. The funny thing is your legs are so chunky that we have to move the middle part between your legs over to fit both legs in the seat. And when I lift you out of the seat the whole seat comes with you and I have to pull the Bumbo off of you. My little chunky monkey. :)

These last few weeks we have been hanging out with Tiffany and Brooklynn a lot. Brooklynn loves you and always wants to hold and feed you. When we are out shopping she is always asking to see you in your stroller. She doesn't quite like it when you cry and she will say, "Oh Maddie." I can remember her being a small baby desperately aching for my own and now here we are three years later and you are in my hands and I am pushing my baby in a stroller while shopping rather than someone elses. I can't tell you how excited I am about you Madisen. Every day I wake up it is like a dream. I can't believe that I actually am a Mommy to my very own little precious angel.
11 and 12 week stats :)
-You started to wake up between 5:30-6:00AM and you wrestle around beginning around 4:30. I know in my heart it is because you are in your bassinet and you should be in your crib. I am working on my anxiety of you sleeping in your own crib which could be a whole post in and of itself. But you will go back to your crib before Thursday. You just sleep better and more soundly in there. I think being in Mommy and Daddy's room just excites you a little too much that you don't sleep as soundly.
-With you teething I am trying my hardest to keep you on your schedule but right now all I am concerned with is making sure that you are happy so sometimes that doesn't always coincide with your schedule.
-You are still doing really well on eating. You are mostly at 4 oz but sometimes you might need an extra ounce or so.
-You still like your activity mat although you require my almost 100% attention while playing with it. It is so funny how things change from week to week. This week you are more into your swing. And it is even the swing Mommy and Daddy bought you. So weird!
-You still have been cooing a lot still. It is amazing to hear and I do almost anything I can short of dancing on my head to get you to coo or giggle because it is such an amazing sound. The sound of my baby the sound of my dreams.
-Your pacifier is my savior!
You are still in size two diapers but you can fit into the size three diapers at Costco but right now we are liking Pampers a lot.
Life is so amazing with you in it. You are so cute and your smiles are the best way to begin and end a day. I have never seen your Daddy more in love. The three of us together is my dream come true in many ways. Every day is a new day filled with excitement and challenges. Your teething can drive me to drink but I can't help but feel so bad because I can't take the pain away which is the worst for any Mommy I am sure. You never want to see your child hurt.
Sometimes listening to the radio and hearing certain songs can bring me to tears because they say exactly how I am feeling. So in love and so looking forward to our future. :)
