Baby girl you are growing like a weed. In these last few weeks you have learned so many new things and everyday you amaze me. You have really become a very happy baby and your fussy times are few and far between unless your teeth are bothering you. You have ajdusted so well to your new schedule and I absolutely have fallen head over heals in love with you.
You can lift your head so well these days and you are getting such great upper body strength. Soon enough you will be sitting up on your own. You love to be in your swing and can play for a long time in your bumbo as long as Mommy gives you toys to play with.
You have rolled over at least 8 times and you are getting so much faster and when you roll over to your back you always have the biggest smile because Daddy and Mommy are your biggest cheerleaders and we clap and cheer you on and give you about 1000 kisses when you roll over.
You have figured out how to hold your toys which you have been doing for awhile but your coordination is really coming along. You can stick your Sophie in your mouth and your teething keys. Well pretty much anything you try to stick in your mouth. You are such a slobber monster these days and I hope you at least get one tooth soon so that way I know all the pain and suffering you are going through is at least worth it.
You no longer cry in the car, "can I get an AMEN" but you do like to have soft music playing and your favorite right now is Kenney Chesney. I think it is because Mommy listened to that CD a lot when I was pregnant with you. You are doing so well at your Grandma's house and I am so lucky to come and visit you at lunch and you give me the biggest smiles and it makes my heart melt and helps to reassure me that we are doing the right thing with Mommy going back to work. Daddy picks you up when he gets off of work and he says that every day gets easier and easier with you. I am so happy that you are surrounded by so many who love you.
Your first Halloween is coming up and we have been to the pumpkin patch so many times with our little family, your friend McKynlie and your Grandma and Grandpa Creson. We have some adorable pictures of you that I just want to print them all and hang them up everywher. Your costume is adorable and you are absolutelly adorable in it. The first time I put you in it Daddy and Mommy laughed like crazy and you were just not having it. I dreamed of putting this costume on my baby for years and I cannot believe that the time has finally arrived.
We have so much to look forward to with you and the holidays are coming up fast and I look forward to creating and carrying on traditions with you. In fact you helped Mommy and Grandpa on our annual tradition of making popcorn balls this year for Halloween. You sat in your playard and watched and cooed and fell asleep. You were such a trooper.
You are growing like a weed and we have your 4 month appointment coming up next week and I cannot wait to see how much you weigh. Dr. is also going to tell us when we can start you on cereal and baby food. I can't wait. Mommy has to go and buy her baby food maker and we have already ordered your highchair. I love that you are growing bigger and getting stronger but my heart aches to have you stay small forever. I love you so much my Princess Pee Pee.
16 week stats
-You start to move around at 4am but you usually stay asleep until about 6am or so. Lately Mommy has been putting you in bed with me for about and hour or so around 5am just to cuddle you. You are only small once right? And yes you are still in your bassinet. I can't help it I want you close to me and I don't feel bad about that.
-You are doing really well with your schedule and are adjusting wonderfully going to Grandma's house during the week. You are such a good baby and we are so blessed.
-You are still eating about 4 ounces sometimes more but rarely ever less. We are looking forward to begin feeding you cereal and starting to gradually introducing baby food.
-You still like your activity mat, you love your swing now and will actually allow Mommy to take you in the bathroom in the swing while I shower and get ready for work as long as you have a toy. You love your Bumbo again as long as you have toys which you have plenty of.
-You have been making all kinds of different noises lately and it is such a delight to hear.
-You still love your pacifier but really only when you are sleeping which is great because it really helps to calm you down when it is time to sleep.
-We have been putting you in size 3 diapers because we have soo many and they seem to be working out great.
Having you the last 16 weeks have been the best moments of my life. I love sharing your life with Daddy and you make us so happy. You have turned your Daddy into mush and I love watching him with you. Your looks change every day and I love that you look so much like Daddy but so much like your Mommy. You are a good mix of the both of us. Now we just have to wait and see who you act like. My guess is MOMMY! :)
